How do you know if your sales compensation plans are really working? If the sales reps aren't complaining, are you successful? If you are responsible for sales compensation or managing overall compensation budgets, join this session to identify and fix potential issues with sales compensation plan design and payouts such as: pay levels misaligned with market; overly complex or too many sales compensation plans; plans not aligned with the various sales and service roles; too high (or too low) compensation cost of sales; crediting issues; and more.

The presenter for this event are: Dennis Spahr, Mercer, and Nick Vollrath, Siemens' Industry.
Dennis Spahr has written numerous articles for Sales & Marketing Management, SellingPower, Velocity and WorldatWork. He is a frequent speaker at professional associations and academic institutions including WorldatWork's Total Rewards and Spotlight on Sales Conferences, Crain's Automotive News webinars, Synygy's Sales Performance Conference, Loyola University Chicago, Ohio University, Callidus Blues Users Group, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) and the Healthcare Compensation Professionals Organization as well as local association groups throughout the country.
Nick Vollrath is a Compensation Manager for Siemens’ Industry and Infrastructure & Cities sectors which encompass over $7 billion in revenue, more than 22,000 employees and over 400 locations across the US. In this role, Nick serves as the compensation lead for several divisions within the two sectors and consults on sales compensation, incentive compensation, salary management, job leveling and benchmarking. In addition to his compensation experience, Nick has an extensive background in benefits plan design, administration and communication, deferred compensation plans and mergers and acquisitions. Nick is a graduate of St. Lawrence University and has obtained the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designations.
