Types of Membership

CCA is committed to advancing the body of knowledge of the compensation field through educational seminars, member forums, regular publications, networking opportunities and related activities and services.

Annual membership is based on your anniversary date at the following rates:

  • $95.00 for a Regular Membership (practitioner, consultant or educator) - fee includes attendance at monthly events, although registration is still required.
  • $115 for Manager Forum Membership (This is a Special Interest Group and enrollment in this group is based on established criteria and is subject to approval by CCA. To become a Manager Forum Member a representative from your company must hold Sr. Compensation Executive Forum Membership and you must be approved and recommended by that member to join the Manager Forum. An application will be provided once CCA has been notified by the Sr. Compensation Executive Forum Member from your organization. DO NOT complete the online or fillable/printable application indicated below.Fee includes attendance at monthly events, although registration is still required.
  • $325.00 for Sr. Compensation Executive Forum Membership (This is a Special Interest Group and enrollment in this group is based on established criteria and is subject to approval by CCA. See below for details). Fee includes attendance at monthly events, although registration is still required.
  • $500.00 for Corporate Membership – members receive one Senior Executive Forum membership, one Manager Forum membership and three regular memberships (Best Value - a savings of 30%)
  • 1st year free; $45.00 per year after first year for a Student Membership (Proof of enrollment in undergraduate or graduate program required, as well as enrollment in compensation or HR-related course. When completing the application, you will be asked to e-mail or fax proof of enrollment and current class schedule to CCA.) Fee includes attendance at monthly events, although registration is still required.

CCA established its Senior Compensation Executive Forum to meet the needs of senior level compensation practitioners by providing a platform under which to exchange and/or discuss strategic pay topics/issues facing their organizations today. Annual membership is limited to the top Compensation Director or VP in the top companies in terms of revenue/size in the Chicago area. No substitutions are permitted. This is a Special Interest Group (SIG) and enrollment in this group is based on established criteria and is subject to approval by CCA. Additionally, your dues payment will not be processed until your membership has been approved by CCA and you are notified that your application to the Senior Compensation Executive Forum has been accepted.

Annual Senior Compensation Executive Forum dues entitle the member to:

  • CCA Regular Membership ($95 value) and Forum SIG
  • Free admittance to CCA Annual Business Meeting and Keynote Address ($85 value)
  • Exclusive Forum membership directory
  • 2 Targeted meetings with content specifically designed for Forum members
  • Networking opportunities with peers

Fee is non-refundable. SIG participation may be transferred as long as you remain in a similar position at a similarly-sized organization.

CCA recently created the Manager Forum to meet the needs of emerging leaders in the Chicago compensation community. Participants work for firms that participate in the Senior Compensation Executive Forum. The Manager Forum provides a venue for practitioners to discuss topics in compensation and share ideas on issues facing their organizations. Annual membership is limited to the Compensation Managers in these companies. No substitutions are permitted. This is a Special Interest Group (SIG) and enrollment in this group is based on established criteria and is subject to approval by CCA. Additionally, your dues payment will not be processed until your membership has been approved by CCA and you are notified that your application to the Manager Forum has been accepted. DO NOT complete the online or fillable/printable application indicated below. An application will be provided once the Senior Compensation Executive Forum member asks CCA to provide the Manager Forum application to the applicant.
