This is a continuation of the The Chicago Compensation Association (CCA) Special Interest Conference Call series. As organizations continue to grapple with reward-related challenges during this global pandemic, we intend to continue the panel discussions started at the CCA Annual Summit in June.

All of us, and the Chicagoland area in general, continue to face unique challenges as we plan for the future of employee retention/motivation, merit planning, and performance management in the current environment and planning for the "new better".

CCA will be hosting and facilitating a summer series intended to continue these conversations and share among peers how others are approaching some of these topics. This session will start with focusing on:

  • Incentive compensation - What are the latest developments? How are you recalibrating and/or setting expectations? How are you handling communications?
  • Merit decisions - Were merit increases delayed or reinstated? What other considerations are being discussed?

We want to explore the next layer, learn more details, and share how others are viewing these issues. The goal is to leverage our built-in network of peers to vet ideas and hear about creative approaches implemented and/or being planned.

This is a one hour Zoom session during the lunch hour and will be facilitated by a CCA Board member. The participants will share their personal experiences and future planning on this topic.
