Call for Presentations

CCA sponsors presentations and seminars featuring local and national subject matter experts from consulting and industry. These presentations address the needs of our membership regarding:

  • Developing and implementing total rewards and compensation strategies
  • Innovative program design and/or delivery
  • Communication
  • Trends/Best practices

And encompass:

  • Base Pay: Broad-based, executive or global
  • Incentive Compensation: Short-term and long-term programs; cash and/or equity
  • Sales Compensation
  • Recognition & Rewards: Cash and non-cash
  • Talent Acquisition & Compensation
  • Legislative Updates: U.S. and Illinois
  • Market Indicators
  • Linking Pay and Performance

This is your opportunity to share the great stuff you've been doing with your colleagues! We welcome and are accepting presentation suggestions for our 2015-2016 (September through June) education year. A strong preference is to have joint consultant and practitioner presentations. This provides the best mix of theory and practical application.

To be considered as a CCA speaker/presenter, please take a moment to complete the online Call for Presentations Form. Our Program Committee reviews entries in the late spring/early summer, and will contact those who are selected to present. The 2016 Call for Presentations is now closed.

Our Monthly Events are typically 1.5 hours long, while some may be 3 hour Symposium programs, usually done in a panel format. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with the presentation starting at 9 a.m. Presentations generally take place in a downtown Chicago (though some meetings may be scheduled at a suburban location) on the second Wednesday of each month during September, October, November, January, February, March, April and May. In December, the association hosts a complimentary program and Holiday reception that takes place in the evening. The association hosts its Annual Summit in June. Additionally, we do schedule some 60-minute webinars, particularly during the winter months when travel can be more difficult.
